How to Cancel Netflix on iOS or Android
Netflix doesn't have a cancel button inside its iOS app. The method depends on how you subscribed.
If you subscribed directly through Netflix (most users)
Open your phone's browser, go to netflix.com, and follow the web steps above. This works on both iPhone and Android.
If you subscribed through the App Store (iOS)
You must cancel through Apple, not Netflix—see the Apple Billing section below.
If you subscribed through Google Play (Android)
Cancel through Google Play—see the Google Billing section below.
Subscribed Through Apple or Google?
If APPLE.COM/BILL or your bank shows the Netflix charge coming from Apple or Google, you subscribed through that store. Cancel there—you can't cancel it on Netflix's website.
Cancel via Apple (iPhone/iPad)
- 1Open Settings → [your name]
Tap your name at the top of the Settings app.
- 2Tap Subscriptions
Scroll down to find the Subscriptions option.
- 3Tap Netflix → Cancel Subscription
Confirm when prompted. Netflix access continues through your paid period.
Cancel via Google Play (Android)
- 1Open Google Play → tap your profile icon
- 2Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- 3Tap Netflix → Cancel subscription → Confirm

If you don't see a Cancel Membership button on your Account page, your subscription is managed by a third party. Common sources:
- Apple: The charge shows as
APPLE.COM/BILLon your statement → cancel via Apple Settings - Google Play: The charge shows from Google → cancel via Google Play
- Cable/ISP provider: Contact your cable company directly (Comcast, Spectrum, etc.)
- PayPal or gift subscription: Check your PayPal recurring payments
